Outstanding C18th French Aubusson Silk and Wool Framed Tapestry
A fine , mid 18th century French tapestry fragment from the Royal Aubusson Factory in silk and wool, with remarcable freshness of colours. Beige background with a wrapped cord composed of a hanging basket with a bouquet of flowers in polychrome, surrounded by multicolored flower sprays.
The tapestry recently framed one a very fine english carved wood period frame, with great detail and retaining somme of the original colour..
This elegant piece with make a statement in most settings.
