Painted terracotta nymph

I came across this delicate terracotta statue of a Greek nymph in Sweden and immediately whisked her back to the shop.

She’d set off any terrace to perfection, although she’d need protecting from the elements in winter. Alternatively, you can imagine her gracing the space at the bottom of a grand staircase in a stately home. Made in Italy around 1905. Total height: 224cm. Plinth footprint 69 x 53cm.
