Charming Collection of Six 19th Century French Confit Pots of Unusual Small Sizes

A charming collection of Six , early 19th century French confit jars of very unusual small sizes, made of terracotta with an interior glazed, to allow the water to be absorbed into the lower unglazed part. The jars would be filled with confit, then sealed and placed in water to preserve the contents until the winter months. Please note that the smaller sizes are more difficult to find these days, as there were not as common as the larger ones.
