Early 20th Century Delft Garniture Set

A charming five-piece Delft garniture, circa 1920, comprising three baluster-form covered vases and two tall flared vases, finely decorated in vibrant polychrome enamels.

Each piece is painted with floral sprays of large stylised purple flowers, scrolling foliage and butterflies, with the central reserves depicting figures in pastoral landscapes, including fishermen beside a river or lake. The decoration is enriched with touches of blue, yellow, green and manganese purple, giving the garniture a particularly lively and decorative appearance.

Wear commensurate with age and use.
