Very Unusual and Rare Catalan Table in Trencadís
A very unusual and rare Table from an important palace in the outskirts of Barcelona, in which the ceramic technique of trencadís has been used, an artistic mosaic procedure that was emblematic in the architecture and decoration of Catalan modernism under the influence of Gaudí. The yellow is combined with black, which traces synthetic plant compositions in the form of central motif and Greek fretwork at borders of the table and the bottom. The whole body is covered with trencadís. Pictures attached of the Palace / Masia and planters from the same series in situ. More info available.
