19th Century Boxed Barrister's Wig

A very charming 19th century Barrister's wig by Ravenscroft, with the original box and legal documents. In 1822, Humphrey Ravenscroft invented a legal wig made of whitish-grey horsehair that did not need frizzing, curling, perfuming or powdering.
