Early 19th century French Barometer

An early 19th century French thermometer / barometer in a hexagonal gilded wood frame decorated with palm leaves. The top with a wind rose and bears the mention of the different states of the weather as well as the atmospheric pressure. At the top is a lyre holding a thermometer (missing) surmounted by a lyre in wood and gilded stucco decorated with palmettes, laurel leaves. Please note that the barometer is sold merely as a decorative object as missing some of the elements.
