A very unusual set of two , late 19th /turn of the 20th century Italian ceiling decorations in tempera on shaped canvas,
similarly decorated in shades of brown and “en grisaille” to depict an architectural perspective with urn and sphinxes. This charming and large pair of grisaille painted canvases will make a great statement piece in any wall.
