Late 18th Cent French Barometer/ Thermometer
A late 18th century French barometer / thermometer in gilded wood and gesso, with octagonal frame decorated with palmettes and flowering branches, surmounted by a lyre containing the thermometer. Eglomise glass dial with cream and red background, signed Conturie, rue des Amandiers 12.
Sold as a decorative piece.
