1950s Spanish Gilt-Metal Floor Lamp with Drinks Table

A very decorative Spanish floor lamp dating from the 1950s, combining a tall, slender silhouette with the practical addition of an integral drinks or occasional table.

The lamp is constructed in metal with a distressed gilt finish, retaining an attractive time-worn patina throughout. A circular metal table is positioned midway up the stem, while a smaller scalloped dish sits beneath the lamp fitting, giving the piece an especially characterful Spanish mid-century appearance.

The aged gilding, darkened metal and areas of wear are an important part of the lamp’s decorative character and give it the appealing patina associated with mid-century Spanish interiors. The floor lamp recently rewired for the UK. Please note that the shade is not included.
