Early 19th Century English Regency Mahogany and Parcel Gilt Torchere Later Adapted as a Standing Light
Good quality, early 19th century English Regency period mahogany and parcel gilt torchere, later adapted for electricity , with a tapering column interrupted by square paterae blocks and a gilt foliate drip pan supporting a candle-form electric fitting.
Raised on a triform base with parcel gilt scrolling monopodia terminating in paw feet. The light recently rewired for the UK. Lampshade not included.
