Large Mid 17th Century Verdure Aubusson Tapestry

A large mid 17th century wool and silk Verdure tapestry from Aubusson ( France ). A secular oak with several twisted trunks is the central star of this greenery, with a green and hilly undergrowth. A small stream, with aquatic flora, meanders from a castle that can be seen between the foliage. Border with garlands of flowers wrapped in ribbons.
