1960s Chaise longue, in wicker and metal, by Francis Mair, United States of America

An scuptural chaise longue by Californian designer Francis Mair. The freeform appearance of this piece is very appealing. This rare piece is interesting from any point of view, due to its smooth curves and design. The open character of the lounge chair makes it look very light and inviting. The gentle curves of the back, seat and arms give the chair a friendly touch. The seating consist of one large mat of chain-woven wicker. The metal frame is also wound with rattan.
