A charming, late 18th century French Louis XVI period painted and upholstered bench / sofa, in molded, carved and gray lacquered beech, with sheathed backs and armrests, recently reupholstered by us in Howe KNURL LINEN ‘BRICK’. This elegant sofa/ bench will work very well in an entrance hall.

Provenance: reputedly from the composer Maurice Ravel (1875-1937)
