Rare Set of 12, 18th Century Venetian Dining Chairs

An outstanding and rare set of 12 , 18th century period, Venetian dining chairs with a wonderful design and retaining the original decoration in moulded, scalloped and engraved walnut with primed decoration of vine branches, clasps and silver foliage standing out against cream backgrounds; the high baluster backs; arched feet ending in butts. Old labels.
The seats upholstered in blue velvet , with later seat covers in cream fabric and embroidered applique motifs
The seat covers have been professionally dry cleaned. stains and faults on the covers.
Beautiful patina on the chairs where the original silver gilt has been worn. Wear and tear as expected for the age of the chairs.
