18th Century Swedish Painted Chairs in Original Paint

Charming pair of late 18th century Swedish high back painted chairs, having been hand scraped to their original paint with carved cartouche and fascia, the legs joined by turned crosspieces in H stretchers. The seats recently reupholstered by us in a green and white check linen fabric with studs.

Provenance: Château de La Verdière in Provence, France.
