Great Pair of 1930s Parisian Adjustable armchairs by ÉDOUARD GUILLAUME POTEAU (1855-CIRCA 1934)

Fine and very comfortable pair of 1930s Parisian walnut armchairs by Edouard Guillaume Poteau. Early 20th century, with slightly rounded backs hollowed out with adjustable slats and straight front legs. The sloping rear legs finished with brass sabots.
Both armchairs retaining the original labels E.Poteau, Ameublement, 59, Rue de Turenne, Paris.
Original upholstered cushions, recently reupholstered by us in a contemporary fabric.
