Fine Set of 1940s Chairs designed by Jules Leleu

A fine set of eight dining / saloon chairs, consisting in four mahogany chairs and four walnut armchairs designed by the well known French designer Jules Leleu around 1945.

The chairs with an openwork backrest and a curved and tapered base with windings and embellished with gilt bronze clogs.

Newly reupholstered in a contrast fabric. More detail pictures available on request.

Measurements :

4 chairs with arms : 94.5cm High x 58cm Wide (arm to arm) x 56cm Deep x 45cm High (seat)

4 chairs without arms: 94cm High x 47cm Wide x 58.5cm Deep x 46cm High (seat)
