18th Century German Two Door Painted Wardrobe in the Original Paint
A good 18th century German two-door painted wardrobe, retaining the original hand-painted floral decorations, that dismantles in pieces for easy transportation. Pinewood and wrought iron fittings, dated 1770 with the inscription “Der Hauss Radt steht in God’s Hand der Kleider Schrank wird es genaunt – H&L, Ao 1770.” Germany, 1770.
