Mid 20th Century Bar Cabinet by Paolo Buffa

A wonderful 1950s bar cabinet by Paolo Buffa with stunning herringbone mahogany veneer on both front doors and the sides. Each door has two malachite panels with brass surround. There is the original brass key and lock, with brass escutcheon that opens to reveal a mirrored interior. Each door has mirrored shelves with brass holders for glasses and bottles.

The central cabinet has a mirrored top section with six mahogany drawers all with brass nobs and inlaid marquetry detail with another mahogany shelf below. Between the small drawers, a small door compartment.

The cabinet is mounted on four faceted pointed legs. There is also an interior diffused light at the top of the cabinet that turns on when the cabinet is open. Rewired and PAT tested.
