Early 19th Century Chinese Export Regency Period Sewing Table

A very decorative early 19th century Chinese export sewing table with a very well preserved lacquer decoration.

The decoration extends to the fitted interior, which features camel bone knobs and a brass upright position stay. It stands on turned support connected by a three feet terminating in stylised lion paw feet. The table remains in a beautiful, restored country house condition, showing minor signs of use appropriate for its age
