18th Century French Louis XV Period Console Table

A very elegant, Louis XV period gilded wood console with carved and openwork belt featuring a burst pomegranate and foliage. The double-bracketed uprights with dragon heads joined by an openwork nut and the original Royal Belgian red marble top.

The console table resting on a later ( it can be removed , as it is only to give more height ) small painted plinth in imitation of marble.
