Outstanding and Fine,19th Cent Parquetry Centre Table

A very handsome, mid 19th century, parquetry tilt top centre table in fruitwood, of fine quality, with very unusual geometric design, all over the table.

The lovely geometric fruitwood top, with a lovely colour, on a pedestal base, following the geometrical motif of the table.

It is very unusual to have the whole piece veneered, with very thick fruitwood veneers. Possibly made by an Italian furniture maker for the English market. Very likely to be a one off commission.

Special attention has been put at the base of the top, as per last picture, where you can see the extend and quality of the craftsmanship. More pictures available on request.
