Outstanding Centre Table with Provenance

An outstanding, English, mid Victorian, intricately inlaid centre table, from Dogmersfield House in Hampshire. The centre table , having a turned central pillar and circular base with lion paw terminals. Pollard oak base, and a carved walnut lions feet. The top, richly inlaid in satinwood, box holly and rosewood with chequerboards, diamonds, fish.

This statement piece was made by the cabinet makers of Dogmersfield House.
