1960s Original Maison Jansen Gilded Bronze Coffee Table

A beautiful circa 1960s French, gilded bronze coffee table. The four legs evoke acanthus leaves and joined by a curved X-shaped brace, the truncated -conical, faceted receptions with a cut-out top in thick glass slab.
Provenance: From and entire decoration by Maison Jansen in 1965 of an apartment in Paris. The furniture was later transported to Nice where they moved to furnish another apartment after their retirement.
You can also observe the same coffee table at the Palm Beach home of Jayne Wrightsman, photographed by Horst P.Horst for Vogue 1956.
