Outstanding 1940s Spanish Lacquered Bureau
A very fine quality, circa 1940s Spanish lacquered bureau with chinoiserie details , in the Regency taste.
The lacquered exterior with hens and chickens surrounded by flowers. The sides with birds and flowers.
The interiors with a lovely mustard colour and hand painted pigeon holes. The back and sides of the pigeon holes in faux bamboo paper.
This elegant bureau bookcase will make a statement in most settings and it looks wonderful either closed or opened.
