Very Rare Peal & Co, Boot, Leather Trunk

487 Oxford Street N; 47 North Road, Grosvenor Square, W1 Advertising as a retail boot and shoe makers, and Royal Warrant Holders as a bootmakers in the second decade of the 20th Century. A very few rare and delightful examples of well-patinated, top-quality, hand-stitched cowhide luggage produced by Peal & Co. survive. Both boots and and luggage are desirable and collectable.
Luggage is invariable stamped ‘ Peal & Co.’ across the front exterior rim of the lid. Heavy-duty, cast -brass locks and fittings.
