French furniture has always had an air of a relaxed charm to it. The lighter coloured French country style furniture has become increasingly popular with the change from formal dining to the more casual kitchen style living. Amongst our extending tables is a superb quality and very useful, circa 1950s, French extendable table in the Directoire taste, with two extra leaves.
This mahogany table still retaining its original marble insert top, in four sections two demilune marble inserts, and two other to be used individually.

Another French dining table of similar shape but lighter colour is this late 19th / early 20th century French bleached walnut table of simple, yet elegant lines, in the gothic taste, that will seat around 10 to 12 people (12 maximum)
