19th century French country style, Buffet deux Corps

A French buffet et deux corps is basically a two part buffet, or sideboard, as we know them in the UK. More similar to a British dresser, they have a cupboard base but instead of shelves above, they have a cupboard with shelves inside. Sometimes the cupboard doors are glazed, but more often they are solid wood with heavy carved detail.

At Brownrigg we offer an interesting 19th century French Country Style, Buffet deux Corps. This Buffet deux Corps is in bleached oak and a fantastic example of French antique furniture. This is a functional and practical piece and offering a great range of storage options that is ideal for houses where fitted furniture is inappropriate due to grade II listed status or interior design ethics etc.
