Rare and Unusual Pair of Catalán Stools in Trencadís
A very unusual and rare pair of seats from an important palace in the outskirts of Barcelona, in which the ceramic technique of trencadís has been used, an artistic mosaic procedure that was emblematic in the architecture and decoration of Catalan modernism under the influence of Gaudí. The yellow is combined with black, with a Greek fretwork at the top. This unusual pair os seats / stools will work well also as occasional tables. Attached picture of the trencadís planters in situ.
