Very Unusual Seven Legged Two Seater Georgian Settee Upholstered in Robert Kime Fabric

A very unusual George III mahogany two seater bench / settee, the ribbed shaped open arms with ring-turned upright supports enclosing a double horseshoe-shaped splat back and upholstered seat; on ring turned tapering legs fitted brass socket castors upholstered in Robert Kime and Tory Burch ‘Tsubaki’ fabric from the Nara collection.
‘Tsubaki’ or camellia flower is based on a fragment found by Robert during his visit to Japan. A charming floral element, outlined in black which adds a touch of grace and elegance to the fabric.
