Pair of C18th Louis XVI Painted Fauteuils by Philippe-Joseph Pluvinet ( Stamped )
An elegant pair of Louis XVI painted period fauteuils stamped PLUVINET , recently reupholstered by us in a lovely green velvet.
Philippe-Joseph Pluvinet, who died on May 30, 1793, was a French cabinetmaker from the 18th century, received a master’s degree in 1754. A master carpenter in seats, he was famous for his professional skill and the quality of his productions.
His workshop is located at 51, rue de Cléry, Paris 2nd (Parish of Notre-Dame de Bonne Nouvelle). He died on May 30, 1793 in Paris.
