Rare Pair of 18th Century French Louis XV Period Painted Crossbow-Shaped Console Tables

A very rare pair of 18th century French, Louis XV period, crossbow-shaped lacquered wood consoles with crotch trays.
Decorated in European lacquer with blue flowers and squares on a grey background and with most unusual moulded Belgian red marble tops.
The consoles in their original untouched condition.
Provenance: Versailles auction, Mes Chapelle, Perrin et Fromantin, July 8-9, 1975
