A fine quality and with an exceptional colour, late 18th century French bureau plat / desk with great design , in the style of George Jacob , raised on eight legs with gilded lion paw feet in solid and veneered cuban mahogany. Original handles with lock and keys. Brushing slides to each end with tan leather top and Greek key detail.
This elegant period desk will make a statement in most settings.
